“We can say a thousand times that this action is a provocation of the Russians. Moreover, there is no doubt that among the instigators there are professional provocateurs who, perhaps, should have been imprisoned long ago. But the situation is such that in the city at least a quarter of the population sympathizes with the separatists. Another quarter are neutral-positive. This is a kind of quiet separatism,” he describes the situation in the city.
“So far, the conflict has not only not subsided, it can flare up with renewed vigor. No matter how cynical it may sound, funerals are always the main starting point of a new round of confrontations. And Russian provocateurs are actively preparing for them. The entire agitprop movement of the Russian Federation got involved in this story yesterday, and the situation will only escalate,” the deputy fears.
“First of all, we need to analyze the conflict that occurred in the Armenian Gyumri, when a Russian soldier, who was later recognized as an oligophrenic, shot an Armenian family. It can be assumed with a high probability that the conflict will be fanned according to these patterns.
Secondly, it is necessary to show that the authorities are ready to harshly punish the culprit. At the same time, the main leitmotif of all actions of the authorities should be one - the culprit will be punished (you can, for example, make an information leak that the prosecutor will ask for a maximum sentence).
Thirdly, the human factor must be included - the person responsible for the accident must apologize and repent. His relatives should contact the girl’s parents and try to explain themselves on a human level. Grief-stricken parents hardly want the funeral to turn into a revolutionary rally,” Denisenko suggests.
