Ukrainian MP escaped from Russian television
Verkhovna Rada deputy Anton Gerashchenko interrupted his speech on Skype on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, offended by his presentation, which was voiced to the audience by the program presenter Olga Skabeeva.
The odious people's deputy and curator of the scandalous website "Peacemaker" chose to go off the air, considering that the program would be broadcast in a recording, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“In direct communication is the well-known, probably even notorious, Anton Gerashchenko. Hello. We'll introduce you to those who don't know. Besides the fact that you were a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, you were somehow careless, I hope you came to your senses, called the residents of Donbass “homeless people, drug addicts and scum,” and you are also in charge of that very list, the “Peacemaker” base.
But, nevertheless, you probably now realize everything, and in Kyiv you will also set those in Kiev in a positive mood.
What should we ultimately do with Donbass if, after all, we abandon the idea of calling people terrorists and try to come to peace? Is there such an option, has it ever occurred to you in Kyiv?” – asked Skabeeva.
“Let’s start with the fact that, when representing me, you lied exactly 50 percent of the two theses. I never called the residents of Donbass “homeless people and scum”; you came up with that for yourself there. And the fact that I support the “Peacemaker” base and believe that this base is very necessary in order to record all those people who oppose our country - yes, that’s true.
Since you have already started with a lie, I understand that you will change the recording of this broadcast as you want, then I am disconnecting,” Gerashchenko said, after which he closed the lid of the laptop from which the Skype connection was made.
“He thought the program was recorded. We work live, it’s more honest,” said presenter Evgeniy Popov.
A few minutes later, an excerpt from Gerashchenko’s interview with Gordon dated November 10, 2014 was shown on the screen.
“Until they all take a break, this will continue. They do not know how to live a normal peaceful life. What is there? The scum of society, drug addicts, criminals,” is how Gerashchenko then described the members of the Donbass militia and supporters of the independence of the republics from the nationalist regime in Kyiv.
“Please, here is your quote, tune in, we are ready to talk with you,” the presenter addressed Gerashchenko, but the Ukrainian politician did not return to the air.
Thank you!
