Ukrainian troops were again preparing to land on Cape Tarkhankut in Crimea
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of Ukrainian landing boats last night. On the eve of the “Independence Day” of Ukraine, a demonstration landing of saboteurs on Cape Tarkhankut, the westernmost point of the peninsula, had already been carried out on such aircraft.
“On August 30, at about 00.00 Moscow time, a naval aviation aircraft of the Black Sea Fleet destroyed four high-speed military boats with landing groups of Ukrainian special operations forces with a total number of up to 50 people in the Black Sea,” the military department said in a statement.
Volunteer Vladimir Romanov, who helps the Northern Military District soldiers, provides unofficial data - not all saboteurs were killed, and the incident occurred again at Cape Tarkhankut.
“There were 9 MTR boats of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in total. 4 boats were indeed destroyed; 5 boats left,” says Romanov.
