Ukrainian diplomat: the god of the West is money
Ukrainian Ambassador to the Council of Europe Dmytro Kuleba believes that the god of Europeans is money, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
He wrote about this in his latest column for the Kyiv publication Novoye Vremya.
As an argument, the diplomat cited the words of his businessman friend: “I have been doing business with Europeans for many years and I understood one rule: the God of the West is money. And when they are deprived of money, they begin to storm.”
“It is stupid and criminal for our national interests not to admit the obvious: they (Europeans - Ed) no longer hide the secret desire of all these years - for everything to be as always again. They want to be friends with Russia. They want to negotiate,” writes Kuleba.
The ambassador’s opinion was commented on by the director of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee, Eduard Dolinsky, on his social network page.
“Does he mean that Ukraine should not join this greedy European Union?” Dolinsky wrote.
