This was stated by the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Czech Republic Yevgeniy Perebiynis.

“Therefore, the government is criticized by those Czech entrepreneurs who are interested in getting labor from Ukraine; they call for simplifying this system,” the diplomat said in an interview with the European Pravda publication.

According to him, last year alone, more than 1000 Ukrainians with Polish work permits, which are illegal on Czech territory, were expelled from the Czech Republic.

In this regard, the Czech government has initiated special projects to increase the number of work permits specifically for Ukrainian citizens from 3,5 to 7 thousand per year, the ambassador said.

Poland accepts Ukrainians to work without special permits (only with a biometric passport), and this has given impetus to dishonest schemes.

In addition, Prague also voices statements similar to those in Poland that the country is accepting Ukrainians, and therefore will not fulfill quotas for refugees under the EU program.

Let us remind you that according to the Polish authorities, the country has issued work permits to more than 1,5 million Ukrainians.
