“During the investigation, the said diplomat has been suspended from official duties,” the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry quotes the Moldovan website as saying.

While the investigation is ongoing, the diplomat will not leave Moldova.

It was previously reported that there were two rapists. One was detained for 72 hours, and the second took advantage of diplomatic immunity.

Allegedly, the conversation was about the Consul of Ukraine in Balti, Alexander Storozhuk. Moreover, immediately after the incident The Ukrainian embassy reported that it is receiving citizens.
