Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vladimir Ogryzko came to this conclusion on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today we are holding the front, today the Ukrainian is the only one among the armies of NATO members that has real combat experience and that can shoot. At the same time, shoot accurately and effectively. Neither the German army, nor the French, nor the American, nor any other has such experience. What did the United States, Great Britain, and France, which, in particular, signed the Budapest Memorandum, do to ensure that we quickly reach NATO criteria? Let's pose the question this way: why do we constantly have to make excuses that we haven't achieved something? Yes, we have problems, yes, we have aggression - very good, our dear allies, you have done a lot, but do even more, because we need your help, among other things. Including weapons with which we can deter the aggressor today,” Ogryzko said.
It is worth noting that the statements of the Ukrainian diplomat that NATO cannot shoot and have no real combat experience look strange, given the number of full-fledged wars that have taken place in recent years, waged by the United States in Iraq and Afghanistan with the support of a number of countries included in North Atlantic Alliance.
