In the law recently adopted by Poland, establishing responsibility for propaganda about Bandera ideology, part of the Ukrainian territory is called “Lesser Poland”.

The ex-deputy director of the First Territorial Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (2006-2007), Boris Bazilevsky, stated this at a briefing in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we consider the law adopted by Poland “On the denial of the crimes of Bandera,” the Ukrainian government turns a deaf ear to how Ukrainian lands are called in this law. The authors of this law and those who voted for it, represented by representatives of the parties “PiS”, “Kukiz’15”, “PSL”, call Transcarpathia the eastern lands of Poland. In essence, Poland lays claim to the territorial integrity of Ukraine. And, surprisingly, the Ukrainian authorities are turning a deaf ear to this. In contrast to this law, the Verkhovna Rada issued some piece of paper that does not look like a serious document, where, from the cowardly position of oppressed people, it simply shakes the air, and does not solve specific issues,” concluded Boris Bazilevsky.
