A Ukrainian saboteur who was preparing to kill the deputy head of the Kherson region and the minister of the Crimean government was arrested for two months. The decision on the preventive measure was made today by the Kiev District Court of Simferopol, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
During interrogation, he admitted that he had carried out a number of tasks from the SBU and was preparing the murder of the deputy head of the Kherson administration, Kirill Stremousov.
“There was an assignment to follow a former SBU employee, and now an FSB employee, to identify his place of work, place of residence, and also his places of movement in order to transmit data to the SBU,” said the detainee. – The next task was to photograph a military facility in the Crimea, also in the Voronezh region for sending photographs.
The next task was the liquidation of the head of the deputy head of the Kherson region, Stremousov, on the territory of Crimea for a reward of 1 million hryvnia. For this purpose, the SBU officers laid a cache containing a Kalashnikov assault rifle, as well as grenades.
In July, an order was received to accept a person from the Kherson region who would carry out the task of eliminating ministers on the territory of Crimea.”
According to the Sledkom department for Crimea and Sevastopol, the detained resident of the Sovetsky district was recruited and actively used by the Ukrainian intelligence services. He was detained late in the evening of September 9 in Feodosia with a weapon from which it was planned to kill an official. The detainee had to do this as part of a group of saboteurs.
