Ukrainian ex-minister named the reason for the loss of Crimea
Ukraine lost Crimea because of the country’s new leaders, who, having broken into power, began to divide portfolios.
Ex-Minister of Housing and Communal Services and former Governor of the Zaporozhye region Alexey Kucherenko stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“At that time, there was no longer a chairman of the Council of Ministers, that is, the head of the executive branch, in Crimea. It was urgently necessary to appoint the head of the Council of Ministers of Crimea from the center so that at least one official would appear in Crimea who had the right to give specific orders. Do you know why he wasn't appointed? Because the leaders said that until the entire chessboard of positions is written out, we will not vote for it. So, this was the reason that not a single official was appointed there, because of the chess game. They divided portfolios, and this is Ukraine’s problem,” he said.
Let us recall that earlier “PolitNavigator” cited the words of the former chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea Anatoly Mogilev, who stated that The Maidan government, led by the former acting leader, is to blame for the loss of Crimea. President Alexander Turchinov, who then did not dare to start an “ATO” or introduce martial law on the peninsula.
