Ukrainian ex-minister spoke in Berlin about the danger of the Poroshenko regime for Europe
The policy that the Ukrainian government is pursuing today poses a huge danger to countries throughout Europe. In addition, there is a civil war in Donbass, and even the UN cannot prove Russia’s presence.
This statement was made by former Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara at a meeting on freedom of speech in Ukraine in the Bundestag, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukraine, instead of being a partner on many issues of the European Union and Germany, has become the cause of many problems for the European Union and Germany,” the politician noted.
According to the diplomat, Ukraine's foreign policy threatens the peace and prosperity of European peoples. He listed several factors that indicate this.
“First, today Ukraine is pursuing a policy of creating a mononational state.
Secondly, Ukraine today is under external control. External control manifests itself, first of all, in the most important sectors of the country’s life - this is the security sector, I will not reveal all the details, but you know who carries out military planning in our country today; financial sector – 100% dependence on the IMF and so on.”
“The third is war and peace. This is a key issue for the survival of our country. Today we are even afraid to talk about the status of the armed conflict in the country. When I perform at home, I know that if I say two certain words, then most likely they will beat me. Therefore, I agree with the words of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who spoke in Munich at the CDU congress in May 2016. She said that there is a civil war in Ukraine under the strong influence of Russia,” the ex-minister said.
He also added that the armed conflict in Donbass has all the characteristics of an internal conflict, and even the UN cannot prove the presence of Russian troops.
“100% of the participants on both sides are citizens of Ukraine, 100% of the victims are citizens of Ukraine. And when we talk about Europe’s holy war against Asia, today in Ukraine they talk about a holy war against the Asian horde, against one large country that is located directly on our border. I believe that this is a complete lie, because in order for us to talk about this we must have three factors: first, there must be a visible central command of a foreign country on the territory of Ukraine, which does not exist, second, there must be a visible military organization in accordance with the doctrine legislation of that country and third - the visible rear is stationary. There is none of this. Therefore, today the UN Security Council does not have the opportunity to directly discuss this issue, because there is no evidence base,” Kozhara emphasized.
