Ukrainian economist Alexander Okhrimenko stated this on the air of the state channel “LOT” broadcasting in the Kyiv-controlled territory of the Lugansk region.
“I still hope that this money will be paid to American specialists right away. The best option is to hire an American company that deals with mine clearance for this money. Then the money will definitely “reach” and the territory will be cleared of mines. If it goes through our Ministry of Defense, then the money will definitely be lost,” the expert is sure.
“Let’s still hope that the Americans will act wisely and demining will take place,” Okhrimenko added.
