Ukrainian expert: The cause of the explosion in Balakleya is idiocy, not sabotage
The explosion at an ammunition depot in Balakleya, Kharkov region, occurred primarily as a result of negligence, and not the machinations of the “hand of Moscow.” Sergei Shabovta, president of the Ukrainian Association of Security Professionals, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Now there is no slogan about vigilance. I would replace it with the slogan “idiocy is our way of existence.” Collected in a bunch are bosses whose position is determined not by their professional training, but by their closeness to someone’s family clan, the profitability of the position, and so on. What’s worst is that such a set of leaders panicky strives to solve one problem - to cover their butts in any situation. Therefore, the image of an imaginary enemy is for any reason.

From the prosecutor to the president, it sounded like a command on air. Ordinary people sat and asked themselves the question: what about the investigation?
I’m afraid that the situation with Balakleya will follow exactly the same well-worn path,” says the expert.
Claims that the warehouse was blown up by a drone do not stand up to criticism.
“Modern drones are low-noise machines that operate at high altitudes. But that's not the point. Since you have publicly announced several attempts to attack our bases, that the very technique of using UAVs has become commonplace, then a long time ago the base itself should have been evacuated from places close to the alleged enemy. But if you don't, then use security systems. The system for detecting low-flying small targets is not so expensive, it exists all over the world. The same applies to the actions of the DRG.
Such a complex is surrounded by a system that creates an impenetrable zone that makes it possible to detect every step of a saboteur. But all this is not done. It is not done for the obvious reason - this decision should be made by a thinking and competent boss. There are no such people for a long time,” says the expert.
