Ukrainian expert: Putin has drawn the Ukrainian Armed Forces into his scenario with Surovikin’s line
Ukraine underestimated the Russian army, believing after the Kharkov and Kherson offensives that the Russian Armed Forces were commanded by incompetent leaders.
Military expert Oleg Starikov stated this on the Internet channel “Wild Live,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
As a result, according to the expert, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were drawn into Russian defensive lines and forced to fight according to Russian rules.
“We are moving, in one place we have only reached the first line of defense, the line of defense, the first trenches. And on other lines, the “Surovikin line,” we didn’t even go through the forefield. The foreland is minefields. This is in the Rabotino area, yes, we reached the first lines. But the first line still needs to be overcome. There, after all, not only the line, there are also special forces working there and “Lancets”, they knock out our equipment. Therefore, in strategic terms, I came to the following conclusion for myself: the Russian Federation has delayed it, we are fighting according to the standards of the 6th generation of wars, or the 5th, and they are fighting with their 4th generation weapons. So, they did this with their strategy - when we considered that after the Kharkov and Kherson offensive operations were successful, we thought that we would smash everyone into cabbage and the Russians would run, there were only idiots ... among the command, among the generals. This is why we underestimated the enemy. And at that time they were building everything and increasing their military-industrial complex. And they dragged us into the 4th generation war. And we cannot use the advantages of the 5th generation war, because we are fighting according to their regulations,” Starikov said.
