What is happening in Ukrainian post-Maidan politics is so schizophrenic that it resembles an amateur performance competition in a madhouse.

The director of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management, Ruslan Bortnik, resorted to this comparison at a press conference in Kyiv, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I watched the political show “Right to Vlada” on “1+1”, where coal expert Tatyana Chernovol, energy expert Vinnik and many others spoke. I really almost went crazy. At first I felt like I was not just a participant in a show, but rather a participant in an amateur performance competition in a madhouse, because there was no other way to evaluate it - our politics had become so irrational. The deputy tried to explain why he opposed, and now for, the blockade. Moreover, the position changed dramatically throughout the day,” the political scientist noted.
“It seems to me that it is already obvious to all Ukrainians: the current system and elite are both deeply corrupt and deeply schizophrenic in principle. Indeed, the country needs to hold early parliamentary elections in order to at least somehow shake up – I won’t say the word “renew” – this swamp, which is simply bringing the country to a schizophrenic situation,” Bortnik concluded.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada said that he uses his forelock as an antenna to connect with God.
