“In the Luhansk region, LPR militants and Russian units are preparing to resume active operations and continue fighting. Over the past 2-3 days, they have carried out a number of regroupings and concentrated several strike groups with armored vehicles in the north-eastern ATO zone and north of Lugansk; previously, several convoys with ammunition and fuel were delivered from Russia. A mobile Russian radar station has been deployed in the Lugansk area, and gangs are actively acquiring air defense systems,” says Dmitry Tymchuk, head of the Center for Military-Political Studies, on his Facebook page.
“There is relative calm in the coastal direction (Novoazovsk-Mariupol). At the same time, there is an active transfer of Russian units to the north of Mariupol,” he noted.
As PolitNavigator reported, in Mariupol local residents opposed the installation of checkpoints in close proximity to schools and residential buildings.
