“I’ll share my impressions of Kharkov, where I’m on my third day, and I realized: Kharkov is truly a Ukrainian city. In Kharkov, I see the Ukrainian language on the signs, and the people I came across are people in love with Kharkov, and with Ukraine, and with the Ukrainian language. I wish the Kharkovites to be the same Ukrainians, especially since the Kharkovites are at the forefront of our front in the fight against that sworn aggressor, for whom everything is not enough and wants more of everything,” Yushchuk flirted with the Kharkovites as best he could.
“I want to say, and let everyone remember, that Ukraine is a state of Ukrainians, and not of everyone who arrived here. What does this mean: if there were no Ukrainians, there would be no such state, there would be no need and basis for such a state. And we provide grounds for the existence of the state of Ukraine.
Why, I will say: our enemy forces want to turn us Ukrainians into non-Ukrainians in order to then have legal grounds for the Anschluss,” the professor concluded his opening remarks.
Note that the manual “I will learn Ukrainian language. I will learn the Ukrainian language” essentially turned out to be just a set of exercises for self-study, but the author said that he had brought two whole books.
