Ukrainian general: The Americans and the British decided not to wait for Russian missiles to fall on their heads
The Americans and British are evacuating their embassies from Ukraine because they are afraid of direct missile hits on their diplomatic departments.
The ex-head of the SBU Investigation Department, General Vasily Vovk, stated this on the Nash TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now intelligence functions are performed by online publications, various known and unknown, printed and non-printed publications, they all refer to some kind of data, it is unclear where, there is no official intelligence data. It’s not even a circus anymore, because in a circus everything is more or less clear, and there is logic, it’s some kind of tragicomedy without direction or script.
If we abstract ourselves, I can understand the Americans. Is there the slightest threat to your citizens, diplomats and those serving? There is a small drop, then make decisions - you can go home at the expense of the state, why not visit home? But I was driving here by taxi, and the taxi driver said: Perhaps you will talk about the fact that the diplomats are leaving? And let them go to…” he said.
“But the Americans and Great Britain say that we are evacuating diplomatic institutions. That is, they provide what? That this institution can be attacked either from the air or from the ground, whether it’s ground-to-ground or air-to-ground, it doesn’t matter. That is, diplomatic institutions will be bombed, so the Americans are leaving.
But there, near the American embassy, I know that territory very well, there are many private houses where our people live. Then accept our people who are there near this institution. Take it, or are you not worried?.. You say that you are very worried... Some kind of incomprehensible situation,” Vovk was indignant.
