Kyiv, February 11 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) - Ukrainian soldiers and military command have the same training as the Russian ones, and if they receive American weapons, they will “surpass the enemy army.”

A veteran of the war in Afghanistan, Major General Vladimir Lishasky, stated this on Channel 5.

He believes that American weapons have “many secrets unknown to the Russian army,” so their use will give an advantage to the Ukrainian military.

“We are fighting an enemy who has the same weapons as us, who studied in the same academies and schools, using the same training tactics as we do. Both the enemy and we are, in fact, birds of a feather. But when we receive Western-style, modern weapons, and the enemy will only guess what their parameters are, then we will have the advantage of military secrecy, when the enemy will not know what our capabilities are,” Lishavsky said.
