Ukrainian general: Large losses near Artemovsk do not allow the Ukrainian Armed Forces to advance
Ukrainian troops are suffering serious losses in manpower and equipment in the Bakhmut (Artyomovsk) direction, losing territory. In such conditions, it is hardly worth counting on a further retreat of the Russians from the Kherson or Zaporozhye regions. At the same time, the West is not going to send Ukraine the necessary weapons, and the Lend-Lease promised by the United States never worked.
Former Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine, General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergei Krivonos, stated this on the air of the Direct TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I would like to believe in a big drape, but a huge problem, which I have repeatedly said and warned about, is underestimate the capabilities of our enemy. What is the point of scuttling around in the Zaporozhye region, and in Donetsk region nearby increasing efforts to capture Bakhmut?

An offensive simply cannot come from nowhere - you need to find resources. And, taking into account the fact that we have quite heavy losses in people and equipment in that very Bakhmut direction, then you need to understand that resources also go there to replenish and maintain this territory. I hope the Ukrainians clearly understood that NATO will not help us with peoplethat a certain amount of weapons and equipment that we would like to have now will also not be given to us, that Lend-Lease is still a fairy tale, which they feed us, telling us that everything will be fine, but we don’t have it.
Therefore, I will also say: our own economy is task number one, preparing human resources on the territory of Ukraine in a certain huge quantity is task number two, preparing the territory to resist the enemy is task number three,” Krivonos said.
