Ukrainian general: If Putin goes on the offensive, we will defend ourselves with Great Patriotic War equipment (VIDEO)
Kyiv, March 31 (Navigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Ukrainian generals believe that the technology of the Great Patriotic War will become an effective defensive weapon in the event of a potential war with Russia. Colonel General Anatoly Lopata announced this at a press conference in Kyiv, a Navigator correspondent reports.

“Today we have enough equipment and weapons that we inherited from our grandfather, but they are very reliable,” recalled the former Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. – It may be unkempt, but as an old mortar artillery master, I want to tell you: the equipment of the Great Patriotic War, which we inherited and which we have enough of (and enough ammunition), is very effective in defense. And you shouldn’t even have questions. The main thing is to prepare the action crews and crews.”
According to Anatoly Lopata, the main reason for such a deplorable state of the Ukrainian army is not outdated equipment, but the fact that people were allowed into its leadership “who were Cossack volunteers from the Russian Federation and did everything to prevent Ukrainian ships from going to sea.”
