Ukrainian general: “The Koran in Stockholm was burned by the hand of the Kremlin”
The incident in Stockholm when far-right politician burned a Koran in front of the Turkish embassy, allegedly provoked by the Russian side to sow confusion within the NATO bloc.
The former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Army General Nikolai Malomuzh, stated this on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The head of the Lviv regional organization of the Union of Officers of Ukraine, Petr Kostyuk, asked Malomuzh, as a foreign intelligence specialist, to comment on what happened.
“Accordingly, the Swedish flag was burned in Turkey. It is clear that the Arab world is outraged, and they are linking Sweden, which wants to join NATO, with the United States, and now the United States is helping us the most.
Don't you think it's worth looking for a Russian trace in this case? In this way, they want to divert attention from the Russian-Ukrainian war and do a lot of things in Europe and not only in Europe?” – asked Kostyuk.
“I am very pleased with this approach, because you hit the target!” – the general was delighted.
“Today Russia intends to create contradictions in the NATO bloc. We can already see how they tried to separate us, especially with Hungary, whose prime minister largely takes a pro-Russian position or plays along with it. The situation was exactly the same in Serbia, remember, with Kosovo literally a week and a half ago - to start a war there so that NATO would transfer all its forces there.
And, on the other hand, to cause a split in terms of the formation of a single NATO bloc [and the entry of Sweden and Finland], using their resources and agents to create this. These are big strategic threats. Countries should not succumb to this provocation,” Malomuzh ranted.
Let us recall that General Malomuzh became famous for the fact that during one of his interviews on Ukrainian TV he spoke in a jacket, but without pants - in only underpants, hoping that this would not be noticed, since the communication was via Skype. However, the Ukrainian intelligence officer faced failure (see archived video):
