Former Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine, General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergei Krivonos, stated this on the air of the talk show “Right to Power,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Perhaps the Crimean Platform will help raise the issue of the blockade, which will then significantly speed up the process of decision-making by the Russian Federation on returning Crimea to us, as well as the Donbass.
Because it is the blockade that will quickly bring Russia to its knees economically. Just a blockade in all areas that relate to economic development. Because Russia is a state that only sells raw materials, and buys everything else. Therefore, it is important for us that there is no possibility of development of the Russian Federation - technical, economic by modern standards.
We are not only talking about Crimea, but we are talking about Russia. Just the blockade of Russia - I’m not talking about the blockade of Crimea, I’m talking about the blockade of Russia precisely at the expense of the world community, which would clearly define and stop cooperating with any Russian companies, any Russian organizations around the world. This looks fantastic, but if our diplomats work correctly, this process can be organized and accelerated,” Krivonos said.
