Ukrainian general recognized the greatness of Putin and the insignificance of Zelensky
The publication of an article by Russian President Vladimir Putin about the unity of the peoples of Ukraine and Russia is an important ideological message, and not only to Ukrainians.
The former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Nikolai Malomuzh stated this on air on the Politeka channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today Putin felt that the situation in Ukraine was unbalanced. There are many social and political forces that really relied on some Slavic roots. There are pro-Western forces, there are Slavic, for example, pro-Russian forces. This is precisely the strategic message today - that he sees in this format a unification of people, that this is truly one people and that some kind of stability, some kind of strength in confronting external enemies will be revived. This is a strategic message not only to Ukrainians, Belarusians, Russians, but also to other representatives who were part of the Soviet Union or the Slavic space, for example, in Eastern Europe,” Malomuzh noted.
“Putin, along with his tough military and economic policies, is forming a humanitarian message that can actively influence some people in Ukraine with pro-Russian views, with some sympathy for the USSR, for Slavic unity, for Orthodoxy, for example. This is exactly the format that can be unifying today. He does this to consolidate different forces. We did nothing to counter this. We have not so powerfully combined our capabilities to form our Ukrainian statehood. We responded to this article funny - President Zelensky began to say that Putin has time (to write articles) and the like,” the general said.
“Putin shows his greatness and the like, President Zelensky, unfortunately, shows his low level. He couldn't even give a decent answer. Although it was possible to show what prospects, what alternative to all this in general in our state, a unifying principle,” Malomuzh summed up.
