Ukrainian general: Now we can instantly recapture both Mariupol and Azovstal
Ukraine can send hundreds of thousands of militants to unblock the neo-Nazis in Mariupol and “counter-offensive” simultaneously to the south and east. The former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Nikolai Malomuzh, stated this on the Ukraine 24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Malomuzh, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have enough resources for such operations.
“If you plan such a strategic operation, it must be diverse. Moreover, we have generated large reserves, a large draft has already taken place, training and education have been completed, weapons and equipment are arriving, which we have quickly mastered and are mastering. That is, this is what creates the soil.
And one more thing - I would like to see today along with the fact that we are planning a counter-offensive, as Commander Zaluzhny said - this is one of the counter-offensives. It can be carried out without announcing it, but carried out extremely powerfully in three or four directions - Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhye regions and the south. This is exactly the format that both strength and means allow.
We already have several hundred thousand people trained, with appropriate combat practice and weapons. This is the model that allows you to carry out an instant operation on Mariupol, on Azovstal. This is where our powerful special-purpose units should show off,” Malomuzh said.
