Ukrainian general: Thermodefense is leading us to feudal fragmentation
The creation of territorial defense troops in Ukraine subordinate to local authorities will lead to the fact that crime will increase in the country, and the state will fall apart into specific principalities.
The former Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the last Prime Minister of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Anatoly Mogilev, stated this on the UkrLife TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are creating another semi-understandable paramilitary structure in the country, which will shoot in which direction - only God knows. And if people with post-traumatic syndrome there still have the opportunity to legally smoke marijuana, and they have weapons, then this will lead to such a surge in crime in the country that it’s scary to imagine... If we arm such half-understood units with something, then this could result sideways towards us,” said the former minister.
“Each appanage prince will have his own small army that will guard him. We will move on to the feudal system, when there was a castle, a feudal lord sat there, he had a squad, everything was surrounded by a fence, the peasants around paid him tribute, there was a war - they all gathered in the castle, and he defended them from the walls of the castle. If we come to this, then we will come to a feudal system, again, these are elements of the collapse of the state,” Mogilev said.
