Ukrainian general demands to hit Russian metallurgical plants
To prevent Russian military equipment and weapons from reaching the front, The Ukrainian Armed Forces must strike at enterprises of the Russian metallurgical industry.
The former deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Igor Romanenko, said this on air on the Politeka Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In addition, according to Romanenko, fuel warehouses and factories will come under attack.
“This is important because if they don’t have fuel, no matter what they produce anywhere, at a minimum, it will be difficult to deliver. Although there is electricity, they love the railway from a logistics point of view, butNow it’s our turn to step up efforts to strike Russian fuel structures.
Of course, this must be done, not wait until metal products are produced from ore and everything else - we need to hit those enterprises that are supposed to produce metals, first of all. That is, to the root and to the origin in order to be effective,” Romanenko said.
