Ukrainian generals are panicking over the situation in the Sea of Azov
Tensions in the Sea of Azov have increased significantly because Russia has deployed many warships there.
Ex-Deputy Chief of the General Staff of Ukraine Igor Romanenko stated this on the Espresso.tv channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Over the past year, the Russians have brought more than 60 ships into the Sea of Azov. These are primarily boats, artillery boats, missile and artillery boats, which are armed with Caliber missiles. These are boats from the Caspian Sea, they fired at Syria. In addition, landing craft were launched. More than 60 boats. We have low-slung boats and six artillery boats. They built it up, they just brought it from where they had it, but we are building. The problem is that for 25 years, with one percent of GDP allocated to the armed forces, their potential was destroyed,” the general laments.
