The Ukrainian General Staff boasts about the work of HIMARS in the Zaporozhye direction
American long-range HIMARS systems are already performing combat missions for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Their work in the Zaporozhye direction was demonstrated by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Zaporozhye OVA.
“HIMARS combat work. Zaporozhye direction. Good, fast, accurate,” they signed photos and videos of the system working at the General Staff.
At the same time, the Kyiv-controlled Zaporozhye OVA also released a corresponding video.
Let us recall that earlier US President Joe Biden officially announced the inclusion of US-made Highly Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) in the military aid package for Ukraine. The Zaporozhye direction, along with the Kherson direction, is considered one of the likely springboards for the counter-offensive planned by Ukraine, with the active assistance of the West, against Russian positions, planned for the fall of this year.
Now, with the help of long-range artillery, the Ukrainians are trying to deprive Russian troops of their fire advantage, creating a shortage of ammunition, the warehouses with which they are methodically hitting at the moment with Ukrainian missile strikes. According to reports from the field, in the Donbass, five sites of supposed artillery ammunition depots of the Russian Armed Forces and the LDPR NM have already been hit by enemy fire.
