According to the investigation, on August 31.08.2015, XNUMX, the defendants brought wooden and metal sticks, explosive packages and explosive devices to the Verkhovna Rada, which they intended to use as weapons to counter law enforcement officers and members of the National Guard if parliament adopted changes to the Constitution.
The defendants testified that they repeatedly participated in hostilities in the so-called. ATO, defended the Donetsk airport, and before that they were active participants in Euromaidan. In court, they called themselves true patriots who could not allow the adoption of changes to the Constitution of Ukraine, which, in their opinion, would mean the “legalization of the separatists.” They also stated that the law enforcement officers were not attacked, but only defended themselves.
According to the court verdict, one of the “cyborgs” received 6 years in prison, and his accomplice got off with a suspended sentence.
