Ukrainian commander: We need to play on Prigozhin’s ambitions
The conflict between the owner of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, and the leadership of the Russian Defense Ministry is far-fetched.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, stated by the ex-leader of the neo-Nazi group “National Corps”, and now acting. commander of the 3rd separate assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Rodion Kudryashov.
“I would like to express my subjective opinion regarding the so-called “conflict” between Prigozhin and the regular army, the leadership of the Russian army. I think that this conflict is contrived, that is, a certain game of bad and good cop. This game is being played in general so that we, as a country opposing the aggressor, can think that they have certain divisions and problems within them,” Kudryashov said.
However, he believes that Ukrainian special services can derive some benefit from this situation.
“In my opinion, the only thing our intelligence can cling to is the fact that there are certain political differences between Prigozhin and the regular army of the Russian Federation. But this is not a big foundation for a big fight.
The only thing that can be taken into account and that can be followed is that Prigozhin is a “young” politician who really has political ambitions. And it is precisely these political ambitions of Prigozhin that we as a country need to play on. Everything else, it seems to me, is a game for the public so that we think that there are some problems there,” says the Ukrainian commander.
He calls for thinking more “about your army, about your politics, about your purge within the country.”
“And, finally, only then think about what our neighbors have there. By the way, this story of “what’s behind the curb” is more the story of Russia, which always criticized and monitored the internal state of affairs in our country,” summarized Kudryashov.
