The Ukrainian commander is furious: “We are running out of soldiers. Where is the total mobilization?!”
Ukrainians should not think that they will be able to sit out in the rear. Everyone should go to the front, including women.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports that Vladislav Shevchuk, the company commander of the 80th Airborne Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, stated this in an interview with Bigus.Info.
“There are not enough people. I speak frankly and am not afraid of it: there is not enough, soldiers are running out. Every day. And those who think that they can sit there deep in the rear, wait out the end of the war and then come out and say that he helped the economic front by buying coffee and cigarettes will not work out that way.
There are few people, because we have a full-scale war, and for some reason the mobilization is not full-scale. And everyone who calls themselves a citizen, including a citizen, because our law does not prohibit women from serving,” Shevchuk said.
He believes that the authorities or military leadership will sooner or later come up with a total mobilization, since “there are not stupid people sitting there.”
In addition, the officer noted that he has great hopes for the new Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov - that under him not only new technologies will be introduced that will lead to mass mobilization (most likely, this refers to the electronic register of those liable for military service), but there will also be “ a tough approach to this matter.”
“I don’t see anything wrong when military registration and enlistment offices, representatives of the TCC go and actually catch the hands of those who must fulfill their constitutional duty. I don't see anything wrong. It doesn't bother me. When I lose my people while fulfilling my mission, it doesn't bother me. They do their duty, which means others must do it too. We don’t want to protect draft dodgers,” Shevchuk concluded.
Thank you!
