Verkhovna Rada deputy Sergei Melnichuk, who was included in the top five of Oleg Lyashko’s Radical Party as commander of the “Aidar” battalion, spoke about this at a rally near the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to him, they are trying to remove the unit from Shchastya under any pretext.
“They offered me $20 million to clear mines and hand over the thermal power plant,” Melnichuk said. – Now there is information that the leadership of the General Staff received from the side that is trying to remove us from there a large sum for the battalion to leave there. I won’t name anyone personally, because the special services are working now, and I think they will find out who did this.”
