Ukrainian composer called Svidomo's inability to compromise redneck
With the uncompromising position of Ukrainian nationalists, peace in Donbass can be forgotten.
The famous Ukrainian composer Vladimir Bystryakov stated this on the air of the Nash TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, Ukraine needs federalization, in which the subjects of the federation will have the right to their own opinion and ideology.
“Because people who revere Bandera’s followers cannot be brought together with people who revere Klim Voroshilov - until recently Voroshilovograd was called Lugansk. This means that mutual respect must be put at the forefront, and then there can be federalization,” said the studio guest.
“It’s a very unpopular word today,” the presenter noted.
“Is war popular? If you don’t give voting rights to people who don’t want to live in this Ukraine, they didn’t want to live in Crimea and in Donbass, and it’s not for nothing that a couple of days ago someone from the Trump administration called them not terrorists, not Russian mercenaries, but rebels. And this changes things a little,” Bystryakov emphasized.
“Look at what is being done - their point of view is “you have to do it the way I want.” Not “we must find common ground and compromise”, but “you must live the way I want, otherwise it will be a stick.” This is the point of view of a redneck,” the composer is convinced.
Commenting on the topic of internal tension based on the church issue, Bystryakov noted that the chances of open clashes breaking out are very high.
“They hung it on them (UOC MP – Ed.) shortcut, hence - weapons will be found in basements, calls. As far as I know, the Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, first of all, called for peace in Donbass. Filaret's church called for suppressing Donbass by force. That’s all, decide for yourself,” added the Ukrainian composer.
