Ukrainian consul transported 900 illegal immigrants to the EU
Ukrainian diplomats provide assistance for illegal entry into the EU.

“The counterintelligence of the Security Service, together with the National Police and in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, blocked the channel of illegal migration to the EU of people from countries with a high terrorist risk.
As a result of complex events in Kyiv, the second secretary for consular and administrative affairs of the Ukrainian Embassy in one of the Central Asian countries, who organized international “traffic,” was exposed. While holding a position at a diplomatic institution, for money she offered citizens from several South Asian countries to illegally travel to the European Union in transit through the territory of Ukraine,” the report says.
The diplomat obtained visas for her clients to enter Ukraine as students of Ukrainian institutions of higher education. The cost of the service was up to three thousand dollars per person.
“The defendant involved two foreigners in illegal activities. They looked for clients, agreed with them on “travel conditions” and transferred the money to the organizer of the scheme. According to available data, up to 900 people from countries at risk of terrorism used the “services” of the attackers. The consul spent the income received on the purchase of luxury real estate in the center of Kyiv and Odessa,” the SBU points out.
