Kyiv, September 30 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The Security Service of Ukraine announced that Russian special services planned to hijack a Ukrainian military reconnaissance aircraft Su-24 M into Russian territory.

The agency reports that on September 22, a Ukrainian citizen born in 1970, deputy commander of an aviation squadron, who participated in the ATO, was detained by Russian military intelligence to carry out this task.
The SBU claims that the serviceman was recruited by Russian special services, exerting pressure and offering significant financial rewards.
“The proposal to hijack an airplane in the Russian Federation for financial reward was first voiced by brother “K,” a Russian citizen, retired colonel of the Russian Armed Forces, during a visit to Ukraine in June,” the Ukrainian intelligence service said.
