About it Volga himself wrote on his page on the social network.
“Looks like it has started. Today is the second day that I see myself being followed. Also, today the KVI (Criminal Vikonavka Inspectorate) officially informed me that the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine has sent inquiries to all possible authorities in order to find out: have I committed any crime, have I violated public order and have I spat on anyone? in the face,” writes the politician.
In connection with these events, Vasily Volga made an official statement.
“I believe that the actions of the General Prosecutor’s Office and the Security Service of Ukraine directed against me today are direct political repression related to my socio-political activities as chairman of the political party “Union of Left Forces.”
I also declare that I am not going to hide or in any other way avoid contacts with law enforcement agencies of Ukraine.
I ask you to consider this statement of mine as an official statement about a crime committed by the current government in Ukraine,” the politician concluded.
Thank you!
