“The Antoshka chain store sells children's overalls with a New Year's discount of 30%. Since the day before yesterday we bought the same overalls for the same price without any discount, the Antoshka stores made a stupid marketing move by simply drawing a crossed out price,” political scientist Yuri Romanenko said on his Facebook page.
“When my wife came up and asked the sellers why they were fooling customers, they heard a typical Ukrainian “well, you understand.” Yes, we all understand, Ukrainian marketing is stupid and merciless,” Romanenko commented on the situation.
