Ukrainian millionaire: “Our victory is not visible. Russia can fight indefinitely."
The Ukrainian security forces, who promise to finish this year, are not telling the truth - Russia is strong enough.
The Ukrainian multimillionaire, general director of the investment company Concorde Capital, Igor Mazepa, said this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I do not agree with the assessments of our military and intelligence officers, who say that we will end the war in the summer or autumn. We are all somewhere on the Internet laughing at the “Rashka”, making fun of the enemy, but they are still powerful. They have human resources, they have some guns, they have tanks, they have shells.
They are being depleted, but, as I understand it, they still have a lot of these tanks, planes, helicopters, and shells. Russia can fight forever. The only question is the intensity of the fighting.
For me and for the largest Western foundations with whom I communicate, the most important question is what are the criteria for victory for us, indicating the end of the war. Did we reach our borders, for example, in 1991? Has it ended for us in Sevastopol?” Mazepa said in an interview with Evropeyskaya Pravda.
He believes that events that will take place in the United States next year will be decisive for Ukraine.
“There are elections in the United States in November 2024. There will be primaries in March or spring, and the future US president should come to the elections with a history of the world. The average American does not know where Ukraine is, where Sevastopol is, where Bakhmut is. He doesn't understand where the other cities are east of Donetsk.
The presidential administration will come and say: “We established peace, we saved Ukraine, sovereign Ukraine, now they don’t shoot anymore. Here is the signed agreement. But it so happened that some compromises had to be made. This will be “sold” to the average American,” the millionaire believes.
At the same time, he admitted that Ukraine is “completely dependent on military and financial assistance from the democratic world, led by the United States of America.”
“It’s no secret that 60% of our budget is covered by Western money,” Mazepa recalled.
