Ukrainian minister wants to cancel most of the economy
If we allow the cessation of railway communication with the Russian Federation, announced by Minister of Infrastructure Vladimir Omelyan, to be implemented, then Ukraine will lose more of its economy.
Stepan Gavrish, First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine in 112-2008, stated this on air on the 2011 Ukraine channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The decision is negative, extremely emotional. In addition, the problem lies in the lack of strategy, which in this case must be done by the head of state. And then the minister directly intervened in the president’s policies. This is the second challenge after Interior Minister Avakov, who announced a strategy for the step-by-step liberation of Donbass. I think that we are also talking about the global incompetence of the current government: individual ministers, outside of collegial decision-making in accordance with the law “On the Cabinet of Ministers” and in accordance with the regulations, announce such dangerous statements, which in themselves can lead to serious pressure from Russia on the Ukrainian part of the economy, which is extremely important for Ukraine,” he said.
“Ukraine and Russia have the largest number of railway connections, and it is impossible to replace them, such as road connections. This means that we will actually cancel a large part of the economy, which brings Ukraine several billion dollars annually,” Gavrish noted.
