Ukrainian minister: “Get stronger and be ready for the collapse of Russia”
Ukraine can only hope that the global balance of power will be in its favor, since this is the only safeguard against “direct aggression” from Russia.
Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov stated this in an interview with Ukrainian propagandist Dmitry Gordon, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If the snow melts, provocations will begin at the front, unfortunately, and we must be prepared for this. The situation that we closed ourselves and will do nothing, wait until Putin’s regime falls - such a situation will not happen, we will need to stand up for ourselves. I don’t believe in an all-out Russian offensive. Because their losses will be crushing, and so will ours. It will be a disaster for us, but it will be a disaster for him too (Putin - ed.)
Still, I proceed from the fact that the world balance of power is in our favor so that we do not have such direct aggression. And our strategy is very simple: we need to be strong ourselves step by step, and that’s all,” said the Ukrainian minister.
“We saw from the events in Belarus, from some events in Russia, that a colossus has feet of clay, and it’s only a matter of time. I joke with my friends: listen, what if they have a mess there, and we are not ready, what if they collapsed there, fell apart, and we are not ready. We must be prepared,” Avakov urged.
