The Ukrainian minister explained that the social noose supposedly helps to resist the “aggressor”
Ukraine will continue to fulfill its obligations to the IMF, no matter how antisocial and predatory they may be.
This was stated in the Verkhovna Rada by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, one of the former commandants of the Maidan, Stepan Kubiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The minister was asked how the government allowed the signing of a memorandum with the IMF, which provided for a lot of anti-social decisions.
In turn, the official said that cooperation with the IMF will continue.
“We will continue to fulfill our obligations on foreign economic activity, because today they allow us to support Ukraine in terms of security, sanctions against the Russian Federation, which have shown effective influence and development opportunities during the period of military aggression. During the period of military aggression and annexation of Crimea, it allowed Ukraine to be shown as a strong state, a country supported by the EU, the world’s top seven and twenty countries,” Kubiv concluded.
