The Ukrainian minister reassures: there will be no blackout in the power grid, we will manage without Russia
Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Igor Nasalik denies the possibility of a “blackout” in the Ukrainian power grid due to a sharp increase in electricity consumption.

“Neither a blackout nor “all is lost” will happen,” wrote Igor Nasalik.
He also noted that today in Ukraine “not minus 2 megawatts (as predicted at the beginning of the summer period), but plus 000; gas and oil units have not been launched.”
“And we don’t need annual help from the Russian Federation,” the minister added, noting that his department considers the current supply of electricity from the Russian Federation as a temporary one-time measure.
Let us recall, as PolitNavigator reported, Russia began supplying electricity to Ukraine in the amount of 600 MW of electricity in the technical assistance mode. This happened after a request from the Ukrainian side.
