This is stated in a message on the website of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The drug, recommended for the treatment of tetanus by the main international protocols, is prequalified by the World Health Organization and meets GMP standards,” the statement said.
At the same time, the department does not recommend that Ukrainians use Russian-made drugs, especially immunobiological ones.
“These drugs are not registered in Ukraine, do not have any international quality certificate, and also, due to the lack of official distribution in the country, they are imported illegally, and therefore there is no guarantee regarding compliance with the cold chain,” Ukrainian officials are afraid.
