This was reported by the Kiev agency UNN.
During investigative actions at the Agrarian Company 2004 enterprise, a people's deputy who was there beat up an SBU officer. The security officer was hospitalized. According to doctors, he suffered moderate injuries.
As stated in the publication, representatives of the SBU are trying to conduct searches, but they are being hindered - “titushki” are approaching the company’s premises.
The publication notes that Labazyuk is a member of the “Will of the People” deputy group and is the first deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations.
The search during which the scandalous incident occurred was carried out as part of an investigation into abuses during road repairs. The pre-trial investigation established that the unlawful actions of officials of the Regional Road Service led to particularly large losses for the state. It was established that over the course of two years, officials, abusing their official position, influenced the results of public procurement. As a result, the “necessary” companies received orders to carry out routine repair work. As a result of such actions, contracts were concluded for a total amount of more than UAH 120 million. An amount of more than 3 million UAH was also paid for the overhaul of one of the sections of a local road, despite the fact that no estimate or agreement provided for the payment of such an amount of funds.
