Ukrainian people's deputy wants to flee abroad by lifting a court ban on leaving for debts - media
People's Deputy Dmitry Svyatash, after the elections, is trying in court to lift the ban on travel for debts and flee abroad, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
About it reports the Kiev edition From-ua with a link to the official web portal of the judiciary.
As the publication notes, the judge of the Dzerzhinsky District Court of Kharkov, Denis Tsviryuk, received a statement from a deputy from the Revival party, Dmitry Svyatash, about the abolition of the restriction on travel outside Ukraine.
At the same time, the publication recalls that in April 2018, it was the Dzerzhinsky District Court of Kharkov that banned the politician, who had long been evading payment of debts of more than $100 million to UkrSibbank, traveling abroad.
Previous informal attempts by Dmitry Svyatash to decide to cancel his trip abroad by corrupting judges of the Dzerzhinsky District Court of Kiev and the Kharkov Court of Appeal ended in a number of high-profile scandals and the removal from official duties of one of the appellate judges, Vladimir Pletnev, who, together with his daughter Yulia Pletneva, acting as a lawyer for the politician, were caught providing “quasi-legal” assistance to Svyatash, the media writes.
Also at the epicenter of scandals associated with the high-profile name of Svyatash were the lawyer of the AIS Group of Companies, Natalya Osipchuk, and the judge of the Dzerzhinsky District Court of Kharkov, Anna Podus, whose gigabytes of personal correspondence, including with AIS lawyers, became public knowledge.
Earlier Ukrainian media with a link to the registry repeatedly reported that Dmitry Svyatash is included in the register of debtors of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. Despite having debts, Dmitry Svyatash leads a rather luxurious lifestyle, dressing his wife in sable fur coats, owns real estate in Latvia, and his wife does not skimp on vacations at elite resorts.
