Ukrainian people's deputy: for the first time in recent years, fruits and vegetables did not fall in spring and summer, but increased in price

Deputy Mikhail Golovko from the VO “Svoboda” stated this from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada.
According to him, last year prices for essential food products increased by almost 80%.
“Unfortunately, according to the UN, today more than 60% of such people in Ukraine are those people who are below the poverty line. The experiment that the authorities conducted over the Ukrainians showed a rapid increase in prices for essential food products, showed that last year the increase in prices by more than 78% for these essential food products accelerated the growth of inflation by 10-20 times. Unfortunately, we see a further increase in prices not only for food, but also for utilities, electricity, gas, medicines, and so on. Accordingly, fewer and fewer Ukrainians allow themselves to ensure a normal and dignified life for themselves and to eat quality food. But I was bitterly struck by the fact that the day before yesterday at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, by resolution No. 349, they decided to permanently abolish state regulation of prices for essential goods. With this, in fact, they signed a genocide against the Ukrainian people... For the first time in recent years, in the spring and summer, when fruits and vegetables should have fallen in price, they rose. Vegetables by 36%, and fruits by 40%,” Golovko said.
