Ukrainian neo-Nazi from the Ministry of Internal Affairs claims attempts to “attach” the murder of Pavel Sheremet to him
Ukrainian far-right activist and lieutenant of the volunteer battalion of the Ministry of Internal Affairs nicknamed “Harpoon” Alexander Voitko states that a certain group within the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is trying to make him a defendant in the case of the murder of Pavel Sheremet. In his opinion, the reason for this is the desire to legalize surveillance of him, as well as members of the neo-Nazi organization “C14,” which was monitored even before the events of the Maidan.
“Attempts to tie me to the Sheremet case are a reason to increase pressure on S-14. This is done by officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs who have passed re-certification, but we do not consider them the National Police, because they simply missed re-certification and lustration. We want the leadership of the National Police to reveal who the people are who are carrying out this pressure,” he said at a press conference in Kyiv.
According to him, illegal surveillance and provocations by the Ministry of Internal Affairs have been taking place for a long time. The reason for the attempt to link him to the Sheremet case was a program on one of the TV channels, which showed a photograph from the murder scene and stated that Alexander Voitko was in the photograph, although, as he stated, he was in a different place at that time.
Let us remind you that a group of several dozen specialists, including FBI employees, is currently investigating the murder of Pavel Sheremet, committed on July 20 in the center of Kyiv.
