Ukrainian defense plant was bombarded with grenades
Two grenades were thrown into the workshop of the enterprise NPK Fotopribor, which is part of the state concern Ukroboronprom, on the night of April 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“On April 5, at 2:05 am, in the premises of the production workshop of the Cherkassy State Enterprise NPK Fotopribor, which is part of the Ukroboronprom State Concern, a security alarm and an explosion were recorded. Representatives of the police, SBU and State Emergency Service were called to the scene. When inspecting the premises, following the traces of a crater and debris, it was determined that one grenade of the RGD-5 type had exploded and another grenade of this type was recorded, which did not explode through a pin that was not fully extended,” the report says.
It is reported that there were no casualties as a result of the explosion. The explosion blew out the windows. The amount of material damage is being established. The general director of the concern, Pavel Bukin, said that a decree is being prepared to increase security measures at enterprises.
