Ukrainian officer shot a subordinate for criticizing Poroshenko
An officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during the election campaign for Petro Poroshenko, wounded a soldier who did not agree with his arguments with his service pistol.
The acting head of the LPR People's Police Department, Colonel Mikhail Filiponenko, announced this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, he noted that the command of the occupation forces began to implement the order of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Viktor Muzhenko, to ensure Petro Poroshenko’s victory in the elections. To this end, Poroshenko and his administration are using their official position to convey the election program to military personnel in the Joint Forces Operation zone.
“The situation with the presidential elections in Ukraine has reached the point of absurdity. From reliable sources it became known that due to political disagreements and total agitation of the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in favor of the current president, cases of conflicts between military personnel, including with the use of firearms, have been observed in units. Thus, on March 18, at one of the observation posts, the officer for moral and psychological support of the first battalion of the 54th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, agitating the personnel to vote for Poroshenko, got into an altercation with the BMP gunner Private Mikhailyuk. Finding no other opportunity to defend his opinion, the officer fired two shots from his service pistol at the serviceman, after which Private Mikhailyuk was taken to the Severodonetsk hospital,” said Mikhail Filiponenko.
He also added that the crime is traditionally hidden from the higher command, and the injury is presented as a result of shelling by the LPR People's Militia.
